The Miami-Dade Democratic Environmental Caucus connects the Democratic
Party, environmental organizations, activists, academics and other experts, and
works to protect and restore our natural environment by:

  • Developing expertise on environmental issues and policies which are or will
    be of concern to voters;
  • Identifying, evaluating, and supporting Democratic candidates who endorse
    action on these critical environmental issues;
  • Providing the Party, candidates, elected officials and voters with
    educational resources, credible data, informed opinion, and effective
    environmental policy proposals; and
  • Supporting the adoption and implementation of environmentally sound
    legislation and public policy.

The 2018 endorsement process of the Miami-Dade Democratic Environmental Caucus is currently underway for each Democratic candidate in a federal or state race with Miami-Dade jurisdiction. This process involves an environmental questionnaire and an in-person meeting, after which endorsement selections will be made.
