Dear NoOn1 Allies,
It looks like we are in striking distance of defeating Amendment 1. The latest poll from the Florida Chamber shows just 66% support for the utilities’ deceptive amendment with 18% undecided plus there’s a margin of error of 4%. We can do this, but we need all hands on deck to spread the word with voters that Amendment 1 is bad and it is crucial we defeat it.
Materials Toolkit: We’ve created a materials toolkit to make it easy for you to help spread the word, with sample email language, social media posts, and logos/graphics. It is available here: http://www.flsolarchoice.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/No-On-1-toolkit-intro-final.pdf
Can you please send at least one or two emails to your list between now and election day? Remember the first Vote by Mail ballots have already gone out to overseas voters and in-state Vote by Mail ballots are mailed Oct. 11th, so the earlier the better for your initial outreach. We have a great collection of other NoOn1 materials and resources like palm cards, fact sheets, and more, here:http://www.flsolarchoice.org/amendment1/resources/
Endorsements Updates: We are now up to 89 official “endorsements” of opposition and we have now posted them on the Floridians for Solar Choice website: http://www.flsolarchoice.org/who-opposes-amendment-1/ You can see you are in good company and that together, with this diverse group of organizations, we can win.
In the News: Here are a few of the latest media pieces our coalition has secured. Enjoy and share.
